Niagara The Great and Powerful
Powerful water flowing freely, crashing down
A spectacle of nature at its best
People visit from every city, every town
Powerful water flowing freely, crashing down
Your great beauty brings smiles, never a frown
Anticipating your power as you crest
Powerful water flowing freely, crashing down
A spectacle of nature at its best
This is a great poem about a place I live nearby and don’t go to often. We often forget how grand it is when we are so close to it and see all the tourist stuff.

You captured Niagara Falls pretty accurately. I’ve been there a number of times and the site never fails to elicit an awed response from me or those who have visited with me.

It sure is. On one of our visits we had a hotel in Canada and we could see the falls from our balcony in addition to visiting it up close.
