The Assignment: The idea of Photo Fiction is write a story of around 100-200 words (which is also called Flash Fiction) based on a photo as a prompt. In this particular photo fiction, the story must be based on the photo below.  This is a multiple part story.  To follow the story, start with Part 1Last week, unemployed George thought he was checking something major off his “Honey Do List” but alas calling a company seen on television resulted in lost family heirlooms and an angry wife.  Worse yet, the company that cleared out the garage seems to have vanished.  And now, the Diaries (Part 2).

“Let me check the number on the contact against what you wrote down George?” inquired Karla.

Karla compared the numbers.  “It’s the same but it’s not Junk Be Gone.” “I’m going to call the television station.”

“WKRT advertising. This is Sheila”

“There is a problem with the telephone number on one of the commercials during today’s Phillies game and I need contact information for Junk Be Gone.”

“Let me check.” Karla could hear music as she was placed on hold.

“We didn’t have an advertiser called Junk Be Gone. There were three advertisers today, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield, WB Mason and AAMCO. I checked our files for Junk Be Gone and it is not one of our advertisers.

“Finding this antique shop to hide out until Hans comes for the diaries was genius,“ said Rolf.

“The owner closed the shop for a month to travel to Italy. Genius was fooling George Appleton by replacing a broadcast commercial through close-circuit television and jamming the telephone line to route his call to us,” said Brock.

“When will Hans arrive because some of these antiques like that deconstructed woman are creeping me out?” said Rolf.
