Have you ever taken part in a writing chain?

Kerrie Salsac has created a novel writing challenge. Head over to her place to take a look.  You can see all the rules there too.

Here is my first submission for Trapped

The guard, Jack looked in the other cells on the block with no success.

Earlier, Hugh visualized his plan as he sat on his bunk and knew he’d soon be free.  The one benefit of death row was the single accommodations.  With no one talking so much that a man could not hear himself think or worse one of those that didn’t love women, Hugh was glad of the solitude.  Hugh gave up trying to prove his innocence a long time ago.  With a no good lawyer and a judge on the take, no one believed his story.  If Hugh’s theory was correct, someone in high political office murdered his wife.

  1. Oh yea he’s going to look for his wife’s killer. I guess Kurt or Jack will find out how he got out. 🙂 This is a good addition.

Cool. Now we have someone for him to go after. Revenge in sweet. I like that you put this in. Now we have a much stronger motivation for Hugh.

So he’s off looking for justice! Nice, adding a goal (over and above not being hanged, that is).
