Submitted for Trifextra Week Ninety-Five

The Assignment:
This weekend, writers, it’s up to you. We want you to choose a word and use it three times in your 33 words. However, it must be either a verb, noun or adjective and the form of the word cannot change, it must appear exactly the same three times. Please highlight your chosen word in your piece before linking up.
The List

Checking her list, Maria entered the mall.  First would be the bookstore and a novel from the bestseller list for mom.  Maria smiled at a child visiting Santa with his Christmas list.

I’d be lost without my lists! I smiled at the child with the list for Santa. My kids are too lazy to make a list…they just ramble until we finally pull them away 🙂

    • Very true. I have an audit client who is a mall Santa during the holidays with his own suit and real beard. He tells stories that we cry with laughter. Thanks for reading and your comment.

  3. This is sweet. I love the last sentence. Nothing like experiencing the excitement of Christmas through a child’s eyes.
