This is my submission for the Weekly Photo Challenge: Masterpiece
To me all God’s creatures are a masterpiece of wonder. Whether they inhabit the earth today or more than 65 million years ago. This photograph was taken in 2009 when my family traveled to Thermopolis, Wyoming during our trip to Yellowstone National Park. At the Wyoming Dinosaur Center, there is a program, “Dig for a Day” where lay people like ourselves participate with the scientists on an actual dig site. The photograph was what they were currently working on while we were there. I don’t know specifically which type of dinosaur, but it was real and so amazing.

Whenever they find new fossils, I’m always trying to imagine what the Earth was like back then and how did the victim die. Whoa – if I only had a time machine is right!!

There were a lot of fossils found in Wyoming. We had one found in NJ and the first of its type. It’s named the Hadrosaurus after Haddonfield Nj
